Oranjestad, Aruba- Aruba Baseball Weekend registration is open and waiting for you! We are limiting the number of players per session so secure your spot now!
The borders are open and Aruba Baseball Weekend is ready for you! We encourage all players who wish to attend to register on our website. This allows us to ensure that you have a spot and get the appropriate size uniform. We will also be accepting sign ups at our pre-registration night and on event days. We still encourage online sign up as this is more efficient. Players who register online along with new sign ups are welcome to join us on the pre-registration night. This is a great opportunity to pick up your uniform and meet the coaches. The 297 staff also has a new coach! We would like to welcome Aruba native Conrad Orman to the staff. Conrad is a great addition and is full of baseball knowledge.
What to expect?
Aruba Baseball Weekend is unlike any previous event held by 297 Baseball Academy. On Thursday August 6th, the 297 staff will be participating in a community day. This consists of giving donations to Centro di Bario Brazil along with a field clean up and restoration. We ask if any players wish to volunteer to contact us. We will be holding a pre-registration that night from 6:00PM to 7:00PM at Nadi Croes Crismo Angela Stadium. On August 7th, 8th, and 9th, we will follow the baseball and softball schedule posted under the events tab on our website. We are excited for a great long weekend of baseball and softball!
Health & Safety Precautions
297 Baseball Academy is taking the upmost precautions to ensure the health and safety of all players, parents, coaches, and spectators. We will be following strict guidelines to ensure this. Prior to the event all traveling coaches and staff will need to present a negative covid test. Upon entering the stadium, we will be using a thermometer to check the temperature of all entering the event. We will also have a hand washing station at the entrance. In the dugout, we will also have a hand washing station along with disinfectant wipes for players and coaches. At the end of each session, all equipment will be properly disinfected before the next group begins. If you are sick or show symptoms of illness please stay home! This will ensure the safety of all. We will be limiting the number of players we allow per session!
